Mother and Her Two Children Struck in Horrific NYC Collision by Driver with Suspended License
A mother and her two young daughters were tragically killed Saturday in Brooklyn when a driver with a suspended license crashed into an Uber and then plowed into the family, who were casually walking home from synagogue.
The victims were identified as 35-year-old Natasha Saada and her daughters, 7-year-old Diana and 5-year-old Debra.
Natasha’s 4-year-old son, Phillip, was also hit and is in critical condition, authorities reported.
In total, nine people were injured in the devastating collision.
Miriam Yarimi, the driver of the Audi that struck the family, was arrested, though charges had not been filed by early Sunday, sources said.
Yarimi, 32, was transported to New York University-Langone Hospital in Brooklyn. The Audi driver is said to have a history of reckless driving, with records from the site « How’s My Driving » showing she received 15 speeding tickets in school zones and red-light violations over the past year.
